Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts across two key areas: our established clinical laboratory services (B2B) and our new B2C self-test kit product line. This dual-focused role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to grow our clinical laboratory business while simultaneously launching and expanding our direct-to-consumer (DTC) market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both B2B healthcare marketing and B2C consumer product marketing in healthcare or clinical laboratory setting.
Office Location: Torrance, California
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement comprehensive B2C marketing strategies for our self-test kit product line
• Lead the go-to-market strategy for our upcoming sample container product
• Create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive awareness, consideration, and purchase of our self-test kits
• Develop compelling content for various platforms, including website, social media, email marketing, and physical packaging
• Analyze consumer data and campaign performance to optimize B2C marketing strategies and ROI
• Develop and execute marketing strategies and launches to promote our clinical laboratory services to healthcare providers, wellness centers, and hospitals
• Drive company’s FDA regulatory initiatives including 510(k) submission for successful product launch
• Create targeted marketing campaigns to highlight our various testing services, including blood and urine tests
• Produce high-quality marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and case studies for our B2B audience
• Collaborate with the sales team to generate qualified leads and support their efforts in securing contracts
• Plan and coordinate participation in relevant industry trade shows and conferences
• Manage the overall marketing budget, allocating resources effectively between B2C and B2B initiatives
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning in both B2C and B2B markets
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with healthcare regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA and FDA requirements
• Collaborate with product development and regulatory teams to align marketing efforts with company-wide objectives
• Monitor competitor activities in both the consumer and clinical laboratory markets
• Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors for marketing support
• Stay informed about healthcare industry trends and innovations to maintain our competitive edge
• Manage a team of marketing associates or agencies in Korean and US
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in healthcare and 2 years in B2C marketing; start-up experience preferred
• Proven track record of successfully marketing both B2B healthcare services and B2C products
• Strong understanding of digital marketing techniques, including social media marketing, SEO, and content marketing
• Experience with healthcare industry marketing regulations and best practices
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive marketing decisions
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
o MBA or advanced degree in Marketing or Healthcare Administration
o Experience marketing FDA-regulated products, 510(k) submission
o 3 years + of experience in a regulated environment, to include CLIA, FDA, CE and IVDR
o Familiarity with clinical laboratory services and diagnostic testing
o Knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare privacy regulations
o Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools
o Understanding of the regulatory landscape for both clinical laboratories and direct-to-consumer medical devices
o Language: Fluent in Korean & English
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000
